Pick an ancestor whom you would, if you could, invite to a virtual dinner.  Why that ancestor and what would you ask them?  5 minutes; being 2 to tell and 3 for open discussion. 

Tuesday 19th June: Kate Urquat, nee Oostendorp the International Settlers Group speaking on “Dutch Research”.  Kate was born in Amsterdam and has extensive Dutch research experience.   Please note change of speaker.

Monday 2nd July:  Nominations for committee to be received by the Secretary.

Tuesday 17th July: AGM.  Subs are due.  “What’s new at the LDS”. Speaker–Sister Diana Hawksworth.

Committee elections will be held

Tuesday 21st August:  Presentations to the winners of the Bedella Award and the reading of the winning entries.

Tuesday 18th September: David Weatherall from GSV speaking on ‘Small Cemeteries in Victoria”.

Tuesday 16th October: Robyn Drooglever speaking on “Victoria’s Contribution to the Boer War”

Tuesday 20th November: Brick wall
