What we do

The WFHS is a nonprofit registered charity incorporated group. The Society’s aim is to promote and assist the study of family history, and to preserve records relating to Wodonga and the surrounding North Eastern region of Victoria.

The society has a large repository of local information plus Australian and International resources. Members are active in collecting and indexing local information such as cemetery, school and rate records, continually adding to the society’s valuable resources for future generations.

WFHS volunteers actively assist the family historian find links to build their family trees be it in the North East Victorian District of further afield.
